Introduction Extended Reality (XR), a popular term combining Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) is emerging as a game-changer in industries like construction, manufacturing, and packaging, but understanding its return on investment (ROI) remains a challenge. You are here because you are curious about how your organization can benefit from this […]
Since its initial release, Autodesk Revit remains a remarkable tool that’s been transforming how we create information-rich 3D models for construction planning and building development. If you’re new to Revit, my friend, Femi Osewa, shares an elaborate Revit for Beginners tutorial to help you get started, following his numerous years of experience in Revit modelling. Before […]
Virtual Reality (VR) is making waves in the construction industry, transforming the entire process, from design to construction.
Innovations in Architecture and Construction have gone beyond designing and building structures with basic infrastructural elements. We have witnessed the rise of innovations such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and a few others. No doubt, these creative innovations are constantly shaping the way we design and interact with the […]
Virtual Reality Construction Training highlights its transformative potential for addressing longstanding issues in the construction industry.
The VR Construction Lab game offers construction workers a safe, affordable, and immersive training experience. With numerous assembly settings, users gain practical experience building, taking apart, and putting structures together.
In the world of architecture, engineering, and construction, technology is fast becoming the norm. Yet, the construction industry is still one of the least digitized industries out there, which raises questions about why people are not adopting technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM) that offer a range of benefits. During my presentation at Creative Architects, I shed some light on the importance of maximizing the information from BIM and how it can lead to efficient advanced construction visualization.
Innovation is the key to success. As architects and entrepreneurs, we are constantly faced with complex problems that require innovative solutions. To stay ahead of the game, it’s important to develop new and creative ways of solving these problems.
Hassan Anifowose, a serial entrepreneur and architect, recently shared his insights on how to make innovation happen. He emphasized the importance of assembling the right team and implementing the matching theory to ensure that the right people are involved in the problem-solving process.
Hassan Anifowose, an Architect and Entrepreneur, shares his experience and advice on Africa Modern. He emphasizes the importance of doing the work and not shying away from responsibilities. Anifowose draws inspiration from nature and describes his design style as simplistic with a feature that draws attention. As an African creative, he has faced doubts about his capabilities due to his skin color, but he uses it as motivation to prove them wrong. Currently, he is working on several projects and is focused on improving the design and construction ecosystem in Nigeria with the use of technology.
